MAINTENANCE TRAINING COURSE DESCRIPTION

INITIAL MAINTENANCE (80 / 64 / 40 hours)

Our initial concentrates on the practical hands-on approach of maintenance. We will cover all applicable ATA chapters in system operation, troubleshooting, inspections and servicing. The course concentrates troubleshooting to the “black box” level. Actual hands-on practice will be conducted on the real aircraft in order to ensure a complete understanding of aircraft systems and “real-world” maintenance practices.

Maintenance Line (40 hours)

The line maintenance course is a short 5-day course to get technicians to understand the aircraft systems, servicing, and practical know-how to maintain the aircraft properly. If your operation cannot afford the time for a technician to attend a 2 week initial, this course may fit into your needs well. Moderate troubleshooting is stressed. Actual hands-on practices will also be conducted on the real aircraft in order to ensure a complete understanding of aircraft systems and 'real-world' maintenance practices.

Electrical Interface (40 hours)

This course is a combination of refresher, in-depth troubleshooting practices, and tracing wiring diagrams. We stress troubleshooting from the cockpit using cockpit indications, training manual, and wiring diagrams. We believe in the “white glove” technique where the majority of troubleshooting can be performed without using tools. A very interactive course with everyone in the course actively involved in classroom discussion all week. A must course for everyone.

Refresher / Aircraft Difference (40 hours)

Our refresher and aircraft differences are excellent in that it can be customized to meet your needs. We will concentrate on the systems that you feel are most needed. These courses also offer a hands-on approach of maintenance.

Engine Run (16 / 8 hours)

This course is designed to provide complete understanding of aircraft engine-run and taxi procedures in a classroom environment. We will complete the thorough classroom instruction. In addition, the service facility's designated engine-run technicians will conduct on-the-job training with the aircraft. It is a complete and very cost effective way to meet the engine-run requirements instead of using expensive simulator training.
