Avionics Electronics 3 – Advanced
Cost: $225
FAA accepted for 6 hours IA renewal
Course Description
Avionics Electronics Technicians work with some of the most advanced electronics systems in the world, so you need the most thorough and high-level training available. Our most advanced Avionics Electronics course offers you all the tools you need to succeed in this challenging environment. Learn to distinguish between various types of oscillator features. Perform conversions with digital numbering systems. Gain expertise in binary, octal, and hexadecimal systems. Understand the principles and theories of wave shaping generation and circuits. Using detailed simulations and hands-on virtual exercises, this exception course is excellent preparation for the Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) test and certification offered by NCATT.
- The course consists of 6 lessons, each with its own quiz, and a final exam.
- You must pass the quizzes with a score of at least 70% to progress though the course.
- In order to receive a certificate upon completion of the course, the exam must be passed with a score of at least 75%.
Objectives
- Identify and compare the features of the Armstrong, Hartley, Colpitts, Pierce, Clapp, Phase-shift, and RC oscillators including Wein Bridge and Twin-T
- Demonstrate the use and conversion of binary, octal, and hexadecimal digital numbering systems
- Analyze and explain the relationships, general principles, and theory of operation for wave shaping generation and wave shaping circuits
- Differentiate between the types of digital logic functions and explain their use
