Our Practical Aircraft Wiring is a Hands-On course that is a must course for all A&P & Avionics Technicians. This course is built with the understanding that repairing wiring is harder than installing it in a new aircraft.
Therefore, the technicians must be better prepared to do the job. We will cover different types of electrical wires and cables, cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, tying and installation particularities like segregation, tie-wrapping and chaffing problems. We also discuss recent incidents, causes and prevention.
This course will also provide a complete understanding of aircraft integrated wiring systems and will give the technicians and the maintenance organization a high level of confidence in this critical area. The course includes a student’s tool kit for performing wire stripping, crimping, soldering and other tasks. An optional fifth day is available for those who wish to add on solder board, bonding test equipment or Avionics squawk troubleshooting techniques.
